This is a poem written by Jojo, January 11, 2019. She came and practiced with us within a week and she had a lot happiness during the time in Blue Cliff Monastery.

When I open my eyes

I see the sky and these are

Beautiful white clouds

How wonderful that we live

On this planet, this tiny particle

In the vast universe.

When I look at you, I see All.

There is no you and there is no I.

How wonderful it is that

We exist as due sharing the here and now.

When I open my eyes, I see nature.

Trees and flowers and rivers and creeks.

How wonderful it is to live together

Surrounded by Buddha everywhere.
