A Seasonal Retreat is a flexible personal retreat that allows you to join the monastery's daily schedule of meditation, mindful meals, walking meditation, and Dharma talks. You may choose the length of your stay from 2 nights up to two weeks within the available retreat dates.
A Themed Retreat is 5 days long and is a more structured retreat with a uniquely tailored schedule of activities directed at deeping one's practice associated with the theme of the retreat usually focusing on a holiday or a particular community.
Seasonal Retreats do not include a 5 Mindfulness Training transmission ceremony, while Themed Retreats provide practitioners the opportunity to take the 5 Mindfulness Trainings during a ceremony generally held on the last day of the retreat.
Additional information on Seasonal and Themed Retreats can be found at Visit / About Our Retreats|Registration

Seasonal Retreats start on Friday and require a two-night stay until Sunday, however, you can register to stay for up to two weeks from the Friday start of the Seasonal Retreat, provided the Monastery will be open during the entire two weeks or does not have another commitment such as a Themed Retreat. If the Monastery is not available, the registration calendar for the Seasonal Retreat will indicate in red those days that a Seasonal Retreat stay is not available.
The calendar can found within the registration form at Visit / About Our Retreats|Registration
