New York State Thruway to Exit 16 onto Route 17 to Exit 119. Turn right on Route 302 to Pine Bush (about 10 miles). Turn left at traffic light in Pine Bush onto Route 52. Go 5.5 miles through Walker Valley, pass the Blue Cliff Monastery sign, make next left on Grau Road. Blue Cliff Monastery (formerly known as Jeronimo’s Farm) is 4/10 of a mile up.

By TRAIN Port Jervis Line from PENN STATION, NY to MIDDLETOWN, NY

Service to Middletown, New York is provided by New Jersey Railway from Penn Station. Call 973.275.5555 for schedule information. When you arrive at Penn station, locate the NJ Railway ticket booth (NOT Amtrak). Purchase your ticket to Middletown, NY. When boarding your train at Penn Station, any train going one stop to Secaucaus Junction (SEC) is what you want. You must transfer at Secausus Junction for the train traveling to the Middletown, NY station.

At Secaucaus Junction, be prepared to use your ticket again to enter the station. This is a large station and you will travel a distance to the track for your second train. Once you locate the platform where you will board the train that is headed to Middletown, take the trip to the last stop.

Arriving through Kennedy Airport and La Guardia Airpor, please take the New York Airport Express Bus   Express Bus schedule  either to the Port Authority Bus Terminal  in Manhattan and take the Short Line Bus   Short Line Bus schedule   or to Penn Station also in Manhattan and take the Port Jervis Line   Port Jervis Line schedule. Both the Bus and train service Middletown, NY (note: the bus has a shorter ride time).

3. Arriving through Newark Liberty Airport (New Jersey), you have an option of taking
the Air Train  Air Train information  to Penn Station in Manhattan and take the Port Jervis Line   Port Jervis Line schedule  or  the Newark Liberty Airport Express Bus  Express Bus schedule  bus to either Penn Station for the Port Jervis Line or the Port Authority Bus Terminal for the Short Line Bus   Short Line Bus schedule

SHORTCUT:  From La Guardia, JFK, or Newark Airports, try to inquire about the Limousine service (minivan service) for delivery to Middletown bus/ train station to avoid going to Manhattan.
